Release and Deployment Engineer

At Uni Systems, we are working towards turning digital visions into reality. We are continuously growing and we are looking for a professional Release and Deployment Engineer to join our UniQue Luxembourg team

What will you be bringing to the team?

• Verify that all products submitted for approval meet established release and deployment criteria.
• Manage all change requests and tasks within the ITSM system related to release activities.
• Process emergency requests promptly in line with the Change Management procedures.
• Support product prioritization and testing planning in collaboration with the Release and Deployment Lead.
• Review applications for deployment to institutional networks and submit them for approval to the Enterprise Change Advisory Board.
• Serve as a subject matter expert (SME) at weekly Release Governance and Change Advisory Board meetings.
• Monitor products through testing cycles, reviewing outputs, and ensuring documentation supports safe deployment.
• Document and track risk acceptance requests from submission to conclusion.
• Conduct post-implementation reviews and maintain records to support continuous improvement.
• Assess and analyze release components for scheduling and ensure effective software delivery and configuration processes.
• Maintain and improve release processes, procedures, and supporting tools.
• Generate weekly reports on release status, deployment requests, and risk acceptance outcomes.

What do you need to succeed in this position?

• Minimum of 2 years of practical experience in a release and deployment function within a large IT environment.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience as an IT Change Manager.
• Proficiency with ITSM tools for managing work orders and change requests.
• Strong knowledge of release and deployment processes and IT change management practices.
• Excellent troubleshooting skills for hardware, software, and network issues.
• Ability to guide users effectively through problem-solving steps.
• Experience with PowerShell scripting and Power Automate for workflow automation.
• Strong organizational skills to manage multiple tasks and support tickets efficiently.
• Attention to detail in documenting activities and maintaining accurate records.
• Full proficiency in English; knowledge of French is an advantage.
