Software Development Support

At Uni Systems, we are working towards turning digital visions into reality. We are continuously growing and we are looking for a  Software Development Support to join our UniQue team.

What will you be doing in this role?

• Develop and update software modules using C#, JavaScript, .NET, Bootstrap, and jQuery.
• Write and maintain clean, efficient, and well-documented code.
• Design, implement, and maintain unit tests and automated testing scripts for software components.
• Participate in daily stand-up meetings, sprint planning, sprint reviews, and retrospectives within an Agile/Scrum environment.
• Collaborate with cross-functional team members including developers, testers, Scrum Master, Project Manager, and stakeholders.
• Engage in code reviews and provide constructive feedback to team members.
• Use Microsoft Teams for virtual collaboration and communication.
• Occasionally attend in-person meetings at the offices in Brussels, Brain-L’Alleud, or Mons, Belgium.
• Coordinate development activities according to the scope and priorities defined during sprint planning.
• Ensure timely completion and delivery of sprint objectives, including documentation and validation of developed modules.
• Support continuous integration and deployment (CI/CD) processes.
• Track and report progress on assigned tasks to the Scrum Master or Project Manager.

What will you be bringing to the team?

• Have at least a high school leaving certificate.
• Possess a Professional Scrum Developer I (PSD1) certification.
• Experience with the following technologies: C#, .NET 8, ASP.NET, Bootstrap, CSS, HTML, JQuery, XML, Webpack, MS SQL, Javascript, Typescript, ES6.
• Proven experience working in Agile/Scrum software development teams.
• Strong understanding of Continuous Integration (CI) and Automated Testing practices.
• Hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure DevOps services and pipelines.
• Knowledge of Microsoft Azure cloud services.
• Skilled in designing and integrating automated tests within Azure DevOps Build-Test-Release pipelines.
• Ability to write efficient, readable, and maintainable code in line with modern standards.
• Familiarity with SonarQube for code quality analysis and compliance monitoring.
• Demonstrated problem-solving abilities and a strong track record in professional software development.
• Quick to integrate into existing Scrum teams and take ownership of development tasks.
• Capable of engaging with external users/customers and translating their needs into actionable development tasks.
• Experience serving as a Scrum Master is considered an asset.
• Proficiency in English language at a C1 level.
