Rotorblade Technician

As a Rotorblade Technician, you will be responsible for:

• Service, maintenance, and repair of rotorblades.
• Finding defects and faults and searching for the correct repair method based on the manufacturing drawings.
• Repairing the defect by laminating, sanding, filling and painting.
• Working to the highest safety and environmental standards.
• Adhering to site rules, policy, and procedures to ensure a safe working environment.
• Responsible for completing all computerised documentation.
• Weekend emergency call out service and late shift work involved (Rotation).

Job requirements

• Previous experience working on wind turbines is a strong advantage 
• Driving license (B) is essential 
• Good written and verbal communication skills in English and French, knowledge of Dutch is an advantage 
• Flexibility and highly mobility required – willingness to travel across the country to meet the companies requirements 
• Have a positive, pro-active approach to work in a team, along with excellent organizational and interpersonal skills 
• Physically fit and comfortable with heights 
• Problem-solving mindset and sense of responsibility 
• Willing to attend multi-day training courses in Belgium or abroad (Netherlands, France and/or Germany)
