In this role you will play a key part in ensuring safe, compliant and high-quality delivery of a MW Data project in Belgium.

You will be embedded within the operations and site team on a fast paced construction program to deliver a Major Mission Critical Data Centre. Your face will be known by the operatives on site. This is not a role to sit behind the desk!

Can you influence safety culture, procedures and performance across all phases of the project. Be friend and gain respect of the sub-contractors on site. Learn who is who and help them and raise SAFETY as critical to all.

Some days you will be amassing 40,000 steps and up shafts and cranes so physical fitness and a "CAN Do" POSITIVE ATTITUDE is key to lead from the front! You will be reporting into the PROJECT HSE Manager as the scale of the project is vast!

Key Responsibilities:

* Promote, implement and uphold the company’s health, safety and environmental policies

* Conduct site inspections, hazard identification and risk assessments, providing clear reports and corrective actions

* Ensure compliance with Local, Client and EU Health & Safety legislation

* Support Project Managers in contractor engagement, permits to work, risk method statements (RAMS), and safety documentation

About You:

* Experience On Build or Civil Engineering Projects in a Safety capacity

* NEBOSH

* Excellent communication skills — able to engage confidently with site teams, subcontractors and senior stakeholders

* Highly organized, proactive and able to operate effectively within a fast-paced environment

* Willingness to be hands-on, visible on site and influential in driving safe & best practice

* Happy to be based In Belgium

* EU passport preferred but client will be open mined depending upon relocation and timescales
