The Sales Engineer supports the regional Sales team by ensuring smooth execution of sales activities. This role involves generating technical offers for customer tenders, translating customer needs into engineered solutions, validating technical specifications, and costing the offered scope.
Key responsibilities include:
- Analyzing customer needs, data, and RFQs
- Drafting automated intralogistics solutions using tools like AutoCAD for Movu Robotics products (iFollow, E.scala, Atlas 2D, racking solutions, Warehouse Execution Software, etc.)
- Assessing and presenting concepts to sales and customers
- Estimating costs for the offered scope
- Coordinating the validation of technical designs and costs with stakeholders for approval
- Documenting system designs in written offers, including functional descriptions
- Supporting sales in customer interactions and commercial activities
- Managing storage, version management of tender documents, and preparing project kick-offs and hand-overs to project execution
- Master degree in a technical field, business, supply chain management, or a related field
- 3+ years of experience in an intralogistic environment is a plus
- Affinity / interest in warehousing software is a nice to have
- Strong negotiation skills and the ability to build effective relationships with customers
- Knowledge of procurement best practices and industry trends
- Strong project management skills and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
