At Champion Petfoods, we craft premium pet food brands ACANA and ORIJEN, trusted by pet lovers around the world. To further strengthen our position in Belgium, we’re looking for an enthusiastic and driven Sales Representative for Flanders, Belgium, someone who combines commercial drive with a genuine passion for animals.

 

Your mission

As a Sales Representative, you are the link between our brands and specialty pet retailers. You build lasting relationships, inspire store owners and staff, and help them grow their business — while making our nutritious products the reference in healthy pet diets.

 

What will be your key responsibilities?

In this role, you’ll be responsible for driving new distribution and developing and maintaining strong relationships with pet specialty stores and garden centers, positioning yourself as a trusted advisor and brand ambassador. You’ll bring our sales strategy to life in your region by identifying opportunities for growth and expanding the availability of our products across existing and new outlets within Specialty Pet Trade.

You’ll ensure our brands stand out in-store by executing merchandising initiatives, product activations, and training sessions that enhance visibility, advocacy and drive results. As part of your daily interactions, you’ll support retailers in navigating the challenges of a rapidly changing retail environment — particularly the balance between online and offline sales.

Collaboration will also be key to your success. You’ll work closely with colleagues from Marketing, Finance, Logistics, Key Account Management, and Trade Marketing to ensure smooth execution and alignment across all activities.

 

What are we looking for?

  • A degree in Sales, Business, Marketing, Nutrition or Animal Science.

  • 3–5 years of field sales experience, ideally in FMCG or pet nutrition.

  • Fluency in Dutch and English, French is a pre, but not mandatory – you build rapport easily and communicate effectively.

  • A valid driver’s license and willingness to travel within your region.

  • Strong communication and relationship-building skills, combined with an entrepreneurial and proactive mindset.

  • A genuine passion for animals and pet nutrition, making you a credible partner for your customers.
