Those that know how to embrace this increase in complexity will thrive. We are therefore looking to reinforce our teams with highly-motivated and talented structurers able to leverage complexity into new business opportunities.

  • Work together with very diverse profiles (sales, traders, quants, risk managers, legal, etc.).

You will learn about the global energy markets, Power Purchase Agreements (PPA) for renewable assets, Flexibility Purchase Agreements (FPA) for batteries, hedging through derivatives (power and cross-commodity options, fixed-for-floating swaps,… ), decarbonized supply offers and more.

You will work on impactful business cases to scale up S&EM’s commercial offering and improve our risk management capabilities, such as in 24/7 carbon free energy, co-location of renewable assets and batteries.

Therefore we are looking for:

  • You have 5-7 years of relevant experience (energy, finance, consultancy,… ).

  • You are eager to learn new skills, curious and ready to be trained.

  • You are fluent in English, any other language, in particular French, Spanish, Dutch and/or German is a strong plus.

  • You are motivated by an international career.

  • You are motivated by the intellectual challenge of putting together high added value deals, you like complexity, and are hands on.

  • Proactive, reliable and results oriented.

  • High standards and attention to details and you demonstrate soundness, discernment, and sharpness in judgment and a drive to excel.

  • Highly inquisitive, interested in the world, and you enjoy understanding and solving complex problems.

  • Strong communication skills and able to influence through non-hierarchical lines and multi-disciplinary working teams.

  • Willing to take up responsibility and accountability early on.

  • Long-term interest in building a career in a strategic, international environment.
