Security Operations Engineer

For a client, we are seeking a Security Operations Engineer (EDR) to join a dynamic and eager-to-learn IT Security team. The ideal candidate will be working with the latest technologies and possess a continuous mindset for improvement.

Responsibilities:

• Implement daily configuration updates to fulfill customer requests following formal change processes.
• Ensure configurations and implementations comply with technical security standards and product baselines.
• Maintain proper configuration and activity of the platform on all managed assets.
• Keep virus detection and prevention measures up-to-date on those assets.
• Provide problem resolution and support, collaborating with other technical teams on operational incidents.
• Initiate configuration review/recertification processes and work with stakeholders to periodically review product configurations and implementations.
• Deliver KPIs to report on the execution of tasks.
• Contribute to future projects by collecting stakeholder demands and customizing and implementing solutions.

Qualifications:

• Several years of relevant experience in IT security.
• Strong technical background in Endpoint Detection and Response technologies and infrastructure solutions.
• Operational experience with CrowdStrike.

Desired Skills:

• Experience in CASB, IDS/IPS, SOAR.
• Programming skills in Python.
• Proven ability to engage with business and management stakeholders.

Soft Skills:

• Customer service orientation.
• Excellent communication skills in English, both verbal and written.
• Ability to discuss and defend security interests with IT (security) experts.
• Team player with open, respectful, and constructive communication.
• Ownership and commitment to meeting organizational quality standards.
• Good time management with a sense for prioritization.
• Reliable, stress-resistant, and flexible.
