As an Senior Accountant, you will take ownership of our financial operations from A to Z under Belgian law - ensuring accuracy, compliance, and reliability in everything we do. 🌟

Your Mission

🚀 How you'll make an impact:

• Manage all accounting processes from A to Z, in line with Belgian GAAP and tax legislation
• Oversee monthly, quarterly, and yearly closings, ensuring timely and accurate reporting
• Prepare statutory financial statements and coordinate with auditors
• Handle VAT, corporate tax, and other local compliance requirements
• Monitor cash flow, payroll accounting, and expense control
• Collaborate with management and the supply chain team to provide financial insights that drive strategic decisions
• Continuously optimize accounting processes for efficiency and scalability

🧩 What makes you a great fit:

• 7+ years of professional experience in accounting under Belgian law
• Solid expertise in A to Z accounting, yearly closing, reconciliation and statutory reporting
• Strong knowledge of Belgian GAAP, VAT, and corporate tax compliance
• Experience working with auditors and external advisors
• Proficiency in accounting tools and ERP systems (experience with NetSuite is a plus)
• Analytical mindset with strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
• Excellent communication skills in English, Dutch and/or French
• Hands-on, structured, and proactive - ready to take ownership and bring clarity to the numbers
