From our office in Ghent, we’re looking for a Senior AI Engineer who’s eager to help shape AI into a core capability of our platform.

What you’ll do...

• Design and develop agentic AI use cases by integrating technologies such as LLMs, LangChain, vector databases, and enterprise AI orchestration frameworks into our core software platform.


• Apply and extend protocols such as MCP and A2A to enable context-rich, multi-agent interactions within enterprise workflows.


• Deliver production-grade AI solutions that meet SOFICO’s standards for performance, reliability, scalability, and security.


• Build AI solutions that respect enterprise constraints, including authentication, data governance, observability, and information security.


• Help define SOFICO’s AI development lifecycle, from prototyping to deployment, monitoring, evaluation, and feedback loops.

What you bring...

• Proven experience in AI/ML engineering, including delivering and maintaining AI features in production environments.


• Hands-on experience with LLMs, LangChain, vector databases, and MLOps tooling.


• Strong cloud-native development experience, preferably on Azure.


• Familiarity with enterprise integration, including OAuth2, OpenID Connect, secure API design, and enterprise-level agent orchestration.

Earn bonus points for...

• Experience with tools and frameworks such as Langfuse, Temporal, or Databricks.


• Understanding of MCP, A2A, or similar agent-based AI protocols.


• Experience using data for predictive modelling, what-if scenario analysis, or business intelligence.
