About the Role
Arctic Wolf is looking for a Senior Developer - Continuous Delivery to join us in enabling our development teams to deliver high quality and high value software with confidence. We design, implement, and support systems, tools, and practices that enable our teams to build, test, and deploy software in minutes instead of hours or days.
Our contributions directly impact the experience of developers across the entire organization and we strive to make their lives a little bit better each day.
Team Responsibilities
Enhance the developer experience by providing and supporting best in class development tools that delight the developers that use them
Build, operate, and support our distributed continuous delivery pipeline enabling developers to deploy services and infrastructure at scale to multiple cloud providers
Evolve our internal developer platform to leverage data to enable continuous improvement across the development organization
Discover and evangelize modern development tools and practices by creating prototypes and demonstrations of new patterns, techniques, and technologies
About You
You are demonstrably capable working in TypeScript and at least one other modern programming language such as Go or Python
You are proficient at integrating solutions with HTTP APIs from browser based web applications
You are capable when working with typical CRUD operations in common relational databases
You want to build tools and processes that support the efforts of hundreds of internal software developers
You care deeply about your customers and their needs, tying your own success to theirs
You seek out opportunities for improvement while remaining focused on meeting business objectives
You are comfortable making decisions with limited or ambiguous information when required and can clearly document the associated risks with any such decision
You are happy to work from a plan, but will also seek opportunities for experimentation, and highlight opportunities for improvement
You enjoy collaborating with your peers, but can also work well independently
Previous security experience is preferred but not required. We provide all the cybersecurity training you need during onboarding and on-the-job training.
Interview Process
The interview process is approximately as follows:
Phone pre-screening: A recruiter contacts you to briefly discuss your work history and provide an overview of Arctic Wolf. Approximately 30 minutes.
Technical assessment: A recruiter sends you a link to a straightforward technical assessment that is relevant to the role you are applying for. Approximately 1 hour.
Technical interview: A pair of team members conduct an interview over Zoom to provide information on your potential role and discuss your knowledge, judgement, and experience as it relates to our technical requirements. Approximately 1.5 hours.
Culture-fit interview: A pair of team members conduct an interview over Zoom to learn more about your experiences working with others and assess how you would fit into the team and Arctic Wolf. Approximately 1 hour.
