Senior Information Security Engineer SOC

Our client in the financial services sector is looking for a Senior Information Security Engineer to support their Security Operations Center (SOC) activities.

You will be responsible for monitoring, detecting, and responding to cyber threats, ensuring the security and resilience of critical IT systems.

Requirements

· Monitor and respond to security incidents

· Investigate suspicious activities and implement remediation actions

· Maintain and optimize security monitoring tools

· Perform vulnerability assessments and penetration testing

· Conduct root cause analysis and incident investigations

· Document and track security incidents and improvements

· Support continuous improvement of security processes

 Required Skills & Expertise

Must Have:

· Strong experience in Information Security / Cyber Security

· Experience working in a SOC environment

· Expertise in incident management and vulnerability management

· Strong knowledge of web security and cyber risk management

· Experience with security monitoring tools

· Strong analytical and problem -solving skills

· Fluency in Dutch and English

Should Have / Nice to Have:

· Experience with penetration testing

· Knowledge of OWASP

· Familiarity with Agile methodologies

· Experience in enterprise IT environments
