What You’ll Be Doing

• Designing and architecting robust, scalable features in collaboration with analysts, technical leads, and fellow developers.


• Developing and evolving both backend (Java, Spring Boot) and frontend (Angular 21) components for high-impact applications.


• Ensuring code quality through rigorous unit and integration testing (JUnit, Mockito), code reviews, and adherence to Clean Code principles.


• Participating in the full software lifecycle: from technical design and implementation to deployment and delivery across multiple environments.


• Refactoring and enhancing existing codebases to improve maintainability, performance, and reduce technical debt.


• Collaborating daily within Agile/SCRUM teams, contributing to ceremonies, and sharing knowledge to drive continuous improvement.


• Documenting solutions and sharing technical insights to empower your team and ensure project continuity.


• Supporting the deployment process using CI/CD pipelines (GitLab CI/CD, Docker, Maven, Nexus) and ensuring smooth delivery of features.


• Maintaining compliance with GDPR, accessibility standards, and established architectural guidelines.


• Engaging in hybrid work, balancing on-site collaboration with remote flexibility (minimum 50% on-site presence required).

• Hybrid work model: minimum 50% on-site presence in Brussels required.


• Freelance position: full-time engagement for 12 months, with the potential for extension based on project needs.


• Eligibility to work in Belgium and availability for on-site collaboration as required.
