Job Description - Senior Military Logistics & ILIAS Implementation Consultant (employed or freelance)

In this role, you will leverage your deep understanding of military logistics, capabilities, and operations – particularly within the aviation domain – to empower our customers.
We seek a highly experienced SME and Consultant to join our team and play a pivotal role in enabling a customer organization's successful transition to the ILIAS software.
Leverage your 15+ years of experience to provide expert guidance on military logistics, aviation, defense industry, and/or military operations.
Champion the successful implementation of the ILIAS software, ensuring a smooth transition for the customer organization.
Demonstrate your airworthiness expertise by explaining the consequences of actions and choices related to EMAR and EASA regulations.
Act as a strategic partner, challenging customer requirements to propose creative and effective solutions.
Translate proposed solutions into tangible benefits for the customer organization.
Become a champion for the ILIAS software:
Implement, explain, and transfer knowledge to users
Explain the capabilities of the standard ILIAS enterprise system
Identify gaps in the standard system and define effective workarounds
Guide end-users and stakeholders towards successful utilization of the ILIAS solution.
Orchestrate impactful workshops and facilitate clear communication within the customer organization and with ILIAS.
Act as a trusted advisor, proactively identifying potential risks and informing the project manager.
You are:
A seasoned professional with a minimum of 15 years of experience in logistics, aviation, defense industry, or military operations.
A proven leader with at least 15 years of experience in guiding and inspiring teams.
Deeply familiar with airworthiness regulations, including EMAR and EASA.
Adept at understanding and streamlining complex business processes.
Possess a keen understanding of (military) Logistics Information Systems.
Proficient in project management methodologies (e.g., GDPM, PRINCE2).
Familiar with change management principles.
An outstanding communicator with a talent for translating technical concepts into clear and concise information.
