(Senior) Officer - Credit Analyst

As a Credit Analyst: Officer/Senior Officer, you will play a crucial role in the initial assessment and processing of credit applications, working under the guidance of more experienced team members. Your focus will be on developing a strong foundational understanding of credit analysis principles and internal processes.

Responsibilities:

• Credit File Analysis:
  
  
  
  • Validate the credit profile of applicants, ensuring accuracy and completeness of submitted information.
  
  
  • Control the stated purpose of loans to align with company policy.
  
  
  • Assess the reimbursement capacity of applicants by gathering and organizing financial data.
  
  
  • Evaluate guarantees offered against credit facilities.
  
  
  
  


• Application Submission & Compliance:
  
  
  
  • Prepare and submit credit files for the internal acceptance process, ensuring all required documentation is present.
  
  
  • Verify that all regulatory and internal requirements are met for each application.
  
  
  
  


• Credit Advice Formulation:
  
  
  
  • formulate initial advice regarding credit applications.
  
  
  
  


• Communication:
  
  
  
  • Communicate credit decisions to clients and/or brokers, explaining the outcome clearly and professionally.
  
  
  
  


• Ad-hoc Duties:
  
  
  
  • Any other duties as determined by the Senior Credit Manager or Head of Belgian Mortgages.
