Job Description - Senior PostgreSQL Specialist

NextLink Solutions is seeking a Sr. PostgreSQL Specialist for a 7 -month contract to support a strategic, large -scale database modernization initiative in Bruxelles, Belgium. This role is central to the enterprise’s mission -critical transformation, where PostgreSQL on Azure has been selected as the future -proof platform for a high -availability.

Within a large -scale enterprise IT environment, more than 150 IT professionals work in a bilingual setting (Dutch/French) to support and evolve a critical application landscape. The department operates according to Agile (Scrum) methodologies and manages a broad ecosystem centered around a mission -critical database layer.

As part of a multi -year database modernization strategy, PostgreSQL on Azure has been selected as the strategic target platform.

To support this transformation, we are looking for a Senior PostgreSQL Specialist who will play a key role in the technical migration journey, team enablement, and the establishment of a sustainable PostgreSQL operating model.

Requirements

Minimum of 8 years of hands -on experience in database administration, database engineering, or database architecture roles.

At least 5 years of dedicated experience working with PostgreSQL in production environments.

Minimum of 2 years of experience operating and managing database solutions within Microsoft Azure environments.
