Senior Technician (Belgium)

Our production facilities feature state-of-the-art, custom-built machinery, each one unique in its design. These machines are engineered to handle our delicate, live products with care, ensuring they are processed, transported, and deployed at our customers' sites in optimal condition and quantity. Moreover, the storage and packaging of these live products require meticulous attention to detail, adding to the intricacy of our operations. Our machinery is also designed to operate seamlessly across a range of temperature and humidity settings, further highlighting its versatility.

Currently, we are seeking to expand our team of maintenance technicians, which currently consists of four skilled individuals. We are looking for a Senior Technician who thrives on problem-solving and is committed to finding sustainable, long-term solutions. What will you do?

• You will perform mechanical, pneumatic, hydraulic, and electrical preventive and curative maintenance.
• You carry out work on packaging machines, electrical distribution boxes and climate installations.
• You make improvement proposals to solve structurally recurring problems on machines.
• You support the engineering team during the construction and installation of new machines and prototypes.
• You put your technical expertise at the service of production to ensure everything runs as safely, efficiently, and optimally as possible.
• You ensure optimal information transfer of relevant data to the Maintenance Manager.
• You are a member of the first intervention team and the permanence team.

Who are we looking for?

• You took a course in Electromechanics and can demonstrate relevant experience as an all-round technician.
• You have knowledge of PLC controls and mechanical and electrical maintenance.
• You are a real team player who realizes the importance of good communication and information sharing.
• You can also work independently. You always have an eye for safety and quality.
• You like varied technical work on both production machines and facility techniques.
• You have a good command of the Dutch language.
