Job Description - Service & Support Officer | Joint Operations Center | Customer Support | Diegem, Belgium

Opportunity

Support service delivery and project execution where coordination, service performance and customer interaction ensure consistent operations.

At ILIAS Solutions, you are part of the Joint Operations Center (JOC). The JOC creates a structured overview of service performance, project progress and operational activities across the organization.

You work at the intersection of customer support and project coordination, supporting service managers and project managers who operate directly with customers.

You improve visibility on service performance and project progress. Your work supports consistent customer interaction and helps ensure reliable delivery.

Your Mission

You support service and project teams by coordinating activities, following up on requests and maintaining structure across operations.

• Follow up on customer requests via the service management platform
• Support service managers and project managers in daily operations
• Prepare progress meetings, reporting and project reviews
• Support budget follow up and administrative coordination
• Maintain overview of service levels, KPIs and project milestones
• Contribute to structured communication between teams and customers

Support Core Defense Capabilities

• Fleet Management through structured service support
• Expeditionary Operations through coordinated service delivery
• Total Asset Visibility through accurate reporting and tracking
• MRO and Sustainment through reliable service coordination


What You Bring


• Experience in service support, project support or coordination roles
• Familiarity with IT service management environments
• Knowledge of ITIL principles (ITIL 4 is a plus)
• Understanding of customer satisfaction and service performance metrics such as NPS
• Structured and organized way of working
• Strong communication skills
• Affinity with logistics, aviation or operational environments
• Ability to work with multiple stakeholders and maintain overview

You understand how service activities, project delivery and performance metrics connect. You help maintain structure and ensure clarity across operations.

Working Across Teams and Functions

You work with service managers, project managers and customer facing teams. You support alignment and ensure that communication flows clearly between internal teams and customers.
