Our vision for Medication Management Solutions at BD

With our technical capabilities, the Medication Management Solutions (MMS) team are able to manage multiple systems and our operational capabilities enable us to have medications available when and where needed, reducing inefficiency and waste for nursing and pharmacy teams.

About the role

In this role, you will be responsible for deploying, configuring, and maintaining server environments that support critical business applications and services. You will work closely with cross-functional teams (IT, engineering, and operations) to ensure smooth, reliable, and secure system deployments.This position is ideal for someone who enjoys hands-on technical work, troubleshooting complex environments, and continuously improving deployment processes. It combines operational execution with opportunities to optimize infrastructure performance and scalability.

Main responsibilities will include:

• Deploy, install, and configure server hardware and software across various environments
• Ensure reliable and efficient service deployment aligned with project timelines and quality standards
• Monitor system performance and proactively troubleshoot issues to minimize downtime
• Collaborate with IT, DevOps, and engineering teams to improve deployment processes and infrastructure
• Maintain and update system documentation, procedures, and technical configurations
• Support incident resolution and contribute to root cause analysis
• Ensure compliance with security, data protection, and internal policies

About you

• Proven experience in server deployment, system administration, or infrastructure engineering
• Strong knowledge of Windows and/or Linux server environments
• Experience with virtualization technologies and cloud platforms is a plus
• Solid troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
• Familiarity with automation or scripting (e.g., PowerShell, Bash) is an advantage
• Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
• Strong communication skills in English (Dutch/French is a plus in the Benelux context)
• Willingness to travel within Europe and internationally (estimated 10% overnight travel)
