Job Description

What does it feel like to be a ServiceNow Support Engineer (HAM) in Netcompany?

As a ServiceNow Support Engineer (HAM), you will take full ownership of the ServiceNow Hardware Asset Management (HAM) module, acting as a bridge between business processes and technical execution. You will combine a deep functional understanding of the hardware asset lifecycle with strong technical troubleshooting skills to ensure a stable, accurate, and continuously improving HAM environment.

As a ServiceNow Support Engineer (HAM), you will:

  • Own end-to-end support of the ServiceNow HAM module
  • Troubleshoot and resolve technical and integration issues
  • Translate business requirements into technical solutions
  • Ensure CMDB accuracy by monitoring Asset–CI synchronization
  • Implement improvements to dashboards, reports, and stockroom triggers
  • Align HAM operations with ITIL processes and best practices
  • Create and maintain documentation and training materials

Qualifications

What would make you a fit for the role:

  • University degree and 1 year of relevant experience in ServiceNow and Hardware Asset Management
  • ITIL Foundation and ServiceNow System Administrator (CSA) certifications
  • Hands-on experience with ServiceNow HAM Professional and ServiceNow ITSM
  • Strong knowledge of ServiceNow fundamentals, including UI Actions, Business Rules, and Client Scripts
  • Understanding of the hardware asset lifecycle and hardware discovery tools
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail
  • Ability to work independently, manage priorities effectively, and communicate clearly
  • Fluency in English and French, both oral and written

It would also be a plus if you match some of the following:

  • Certified Implementation Specialist – Hardware Asset Management (CIS-HAM)
  • Experience with additional ServiceNow products (ITSM, CSM, HRSD, SPM, etc.)
  • ServiceNow development or scripting training
  • Experience with Web Services (XML, SOAP, REST)
