Job Title: Shipping Specialist Location: Louvain-la-Neuve, Belgium The Shipping Specialist role involves planning, booking, and managing end-to-end transportation based on various factors such as shipping mode, Incoterms, destination, danger type, and delivery date. The objective is to ensure on-time delivery, quality, and cost-effectiveness while implementing optimal logistics solutions that comply with dsm-firmenich's and various stakeholders' requirements, agreements, and contracts. Your Key Responsibilities Coordinate end-to-end shipment creation and transport bookings, including direct deliveries to customers and transfers to external warehouses. Prepare shipping documents (Customs, sanitary certificates, certificates of origin, EMCS declarations, etc.). Follow up with transport companies and internal counterparts such as the Customer Experience Team. Manage the front desk for truck drivers (CMR verification, ADR checks, etc.). Collaborate with warehouse operators and other key functions to ensure a smooth and timely loading process (manifest preparation, loading guidelines, deadlines, and priority setup). Actively support the resolution of transportation complaints, provision for transport costs, and transport invoice management. A high school diploma or a university degree (Bachelor's or Master's) in Logistics. Fluency in French and English. SAP and Excel knowledge. A sense of ownership, delivering results that matter and contribute significantly to our success. A commitment to teamwork, fostering collaboration, and respecting diverse perspectives.
