Site Manager & Technical Trainer Belgium

We are seeking a highly skilled professional to take on a
dual role combining Site Management and Technical Training within
a structured construction and industrial environment in Belgium. This position
requires strong technical expertise, leadership, and a passion for developing
people. You will be responsible for managing construction sites to European
quality standards while also training and supporting maintenance teams to
ensure safety, efficiency, and continuous improvement.

Requirements

Key Responsibilities

Site Management

• Lead
  and coordinate daily on‑site activities, supervising subcontractors,
  suppliers, and workers.
  
• Conduct
  site inspections, ensure technical compliance, and manage problem‑solving
  on the ground.
  
• Translate
  master schedules into short‑term planning and daily priorities.
  
• Coordinate
  material deliveries and prepare each construction phase.
  
• Act
  as the on‑site safety responsible, conducting safety briefings and
  reporting incidents.
  
• Read
  and interpret technical drawings and specifications, monitor execution
  quality, and validate progress.
  
• Keep
  daily site records (labour, materials, progress), validate subcontractor
  claims, and support budget/cost follow‑up.
  
• Collaborate
  with BIM coordinators and use digital tools for technical follow‑up.
  

Technical Training

• Develop
  and deliver training programs for new employees in the technical
  department, prioritizing safety.
  
• Create
  hybrid learning paths for experienced staff, combining digital and face‑to‑face
  sessions.
  
• Provide
  training both in classrooms and directly on the production floor.
  
• Collaborate
  with advisors and fellow trainers to design training materials, evaluate
  efficiency, and optimize learning solutions.
  
• Integrate
  pilot installations and test setups into training for practical
  application.
  
• Track
  participant progress, provide constructive feedback, and foster
  collaboration among employees, managers, mentors, and engineers.
  
• Manage
  training activities within the Learning Management System (LMS).
  
• Stay
  up to date with technical developments to ensure training content remains
  relevant.
  
• Promote
  a growth mindset and learning culture across the maintenance and site
  teams.
  

Candidate Profile

• Education:
  Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Construction, Civil Engineering,
  Architecture, or a related technical field.
  
• Experience:
  5–7 years as a Site Manager, plus at least 5 years of technical experience
  as a technician.
  
• Strong
  technical insight with excellent drawing interpretation and AutoCAD
  knowledge.
  
• Skilled
  in leadership, communication, and organizational management.
  
• Safety‑conscious,
  proactive, and solution‑oriented.
  
• Digitally
  savvy, eager to learn new systems (including LMS platforms).
  
• Able
  to translate technical jargon into clear language in English; willingness
  to learn Dutch (French is a plus).
  
• Flexible
  to work in day and 2‑shift systems (05:00–13:00 and 13:00–21:00), with
  occasional support for night or weekend shifts.
