We are looking for a Social Media & Community Specialist to lead VECTRA’s organic social presence,
thought leadership distribution, community engagement, and social media performance .This role is ideal for
someone who understands B2B social media, executive branding, content adaptation, audience
engagement, and social analytics. The role goes beyond posting content and focuses on building authority,
increasing visibility, and strengthening VECTRA’s market positioning.
This is a strategic and tactical role that requires both creative thinking and analytical rigor. You'll work closely
with the content, creative, and SEO teams to amplify VECTRA's messaging, establish industry
authority,marketplace growth and generate qualified leads for the sales team.
Social Media Strategy & Planning
● Develop and execute comprehensive social media strategy and publishing calendar
● Define content pillars, messaging frameworks, and platform specific strategies (LinkedIn, Twitter/X,
YouTube, Instagram)
● Set quarterly social media goals, KPIs, and success metrics
● Conduct competitive analysis and industry benchmarking to identify opportunities
● Identify emerging trends and opportunities to position VECTRA as a thought leader
● Schedule, publish, monitor, and optimize content across all platforms.
Content Development & Curation
● Create original, engaging social content (posts, captions, threads, reels, videos) that drive
engagement and lead generation
● Curate industry news, research, and insights that position VECTRA as an authority
● Translate complex supply chain, resilience, and business topics into accessible, engaging social
narratives
● Collaborate with the creative team to develop visually compelling assets and multimedia content
● Repurpose long-form content (webinars, reports, case studies) into social-optimized formats
● Develop thought leadership content for executive team members to share and amplify reach
Community Management & Engagement
● Monitor comments, mentions, conversations, and engagement opportunities.
● Build and nurture an engaged community of supply chain professionals, sustainability leaders, and
enterprise decision-makers
● Support employee advocacy and internal content amplification initiatives.
● Identify and engage with key influencers, industry leaders, and potential partners
● Manage crisis communication and brand reputation on social channels
Campaign Execution & Promotion
● Plan and execute integrated social media campaigns supporting product launches, webinars, events,
and thought leadership initiatives
● Maintain content calendars, publishing schedules, and content trackers.
● Promote webinars, reports, case studies, and other marketing assets to drive registrations
● Coordinate with content, design, website, email, and Marketplace teams.
● Create campaign-specific landing pages, email sequences, and promotional materials
● Track campaign performance and optimize in real-time based on engagement and conversion data
Analytics & Performance Measurement
● Track and report on key social media metrics: reach, impressions, engagement rate, click-through
rate, follower growth, lead generation and other metrics
● Support UTM usage and attribution tracking across social channels.
● Conduct monthly and weekly performance reviews and provide insights and recommendations
● Use data to optimize content strategy, posting schedule, and platform allocation
● Create dashboards and reports for leadership visibility into social media performance
● Benchmark performance against competitors and industry standards
Platform Management & Optimization
● Manage all VECTRA social media accounts (LinkedIn, Twitter/X, YouTube, Instagram, etc.)
● Optimize profile bios, headers, and descriptions to reflect VECTRA's repositioning
● Test new features, formats, and platforms to stay ahead of trends
● Ensure brand consistency across all social channels
● Manage social media tools, scheduling software, and analytics platforms
● Stay current with platform algorithm changes and best practices
Collaboration & Cross-Functional Alignment
● Work closely with content team to align social strategy with content marketing initiatives
● Collaborate with creative team on visual assets, video content, and multimedia production
● Support sales team with social selling resources, battle cards, and competitive intelligence
● Coordinate with SEO team to ensure social content supports organic search strategy
● Participate in marketing team meetings and contribute to overall marketing strategy
● Communicate social insights and opportunities to leadership
Thought Leadership & Industry Authority
● Develop and promote executive thought leadership across LinkedIn and relevant channels.
● Identify speaking opportunities, industry events, and partnership opportunities
● Build relationships with journalists, industry analysts, and media outlets
● Industry conversations and position VECTRA as a voice in business transformation
Requirements
● 3-5 years of professional experience in Social Media or Content Marketing
● Proven ability to develop and execute a comprehensive B2B social media strategy aligned with
business objectives, driving engaged communities and measurable business results.
● Strong writing, storytelling, and content adaptation skills to create authentic content tailored for
various audience personas.
● Proficiency with social media analytics tools and demonstrated ability to interpret performance
metrics, making data-driven decisions.
● Experience managing content calendars and proficiency with social media management tools
● Familiarity with thought leadership and executive branding strategies, while managing multiple social
platforms (LinkedIn, Twitter/X, YouTube, Instagram).
● Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a remote environment while managing
simultaneous campaigns and comfortable with new platforms/trends.
● Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or related field (or equivalent
professional experience
