The Big Picture

Televic Healthcare , the nr. 1 reference in care communication systems for the healthcare market is rapidly expanding. We are looking for a Software Validation Engineer to help us grow so we can continue to offer superb quality and maintenance service to our customers.

You will be part of our international healthcare team, developing our next generation nurse call system for hospitals and nursing homes. Your work will impact tens of thousands of patients daily, as well as the nurses taking care of them.

Your role

You will be part of our international healthcare team, developing our next generation nurse call system for hospitals and nursing homes. By automating the end-to-end validation of our system, you guarantee that tens of thousands of patients can rely on our system when in need.

Key responsibilities

• You define test cases and create test plans according to the product requirements
• You execute the test cases and report on test plan status
• You describe issues in a structured way, containing the expected vs actual result and steps to reproduce
• You work together with developers to reproduce and solve issues
• You share your ideas on how to further improve the existing processes
• You are interested in automated software testing
• You investigate complex issues at customers

Required Skills and Experience

• Experience with testing software applications or with software development
• Understands fundamentals of software development
• Ability to translate complex product requirements to well-structured test plans
• Ability to work structured and detailed
• Basic knowledge of networking (DHCP, DNS)
• You can test with the mindset of an end user

Nice to have

• Experience with VM’s or Docker
• Experience with hardware or embedded devices
• Advanced knowledge of networking (VLAN, routing, …)
• Experience with Azure DevOps
• Experience with Python
• ISTQB certified
