Solution Analyst - Transport Management

As a Solution Analyst specializing in Transport Management at TVH Parts NV, you will play a crucial role in optimizing our logistics and transportation processes. You will bridge the gap between business needs and IT solutions, ensuring our transport systems effectively support our global operations.

Your role and responsibility

• Analyze, define, and document business requirements for transportation and logistics processes.

• Translate business needs into functional specifications for system enhancements and new solutions within our Transport Management System (TMS) and related applications.

• Collaborate closely with internal stakeholders (e.g., logistics operations, supply chain, IT development teams) and external partners (e.g., TMS vendors, carriers).

• Participate in the design, configuration, testing, and implementation of new TMS functionalities and integrations.

• Provide ongoing support, troubleshoot issues, and optimize existing transport management processes and systems.

• Conduct training sessions and create user documentation for new and updated transport functionalities.

• Stay informed about industry best practices and emerging technologies in transport and logistics.

• Contribute to project planning and execution, ensuring timely delivery and adherence to quality standards.

How to succeed / your profile

• Proven experience as a Solution Analyst and translating corporate needs into functional specifications, with a strong focus on Transport Management Systems (TMS).

• In-depth understanding of logistics and transportation processes, including planning, execution, freight management, track &trace and carrier integration.

• Strong knowledge of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).

• Motivated to learn and master working with Oracle transport management, GTTE QAD precision or other transport management systems. 

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to translate complex business requirements into clear functional specifications.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, capable of effectively engaging with technical and non-technical stakeholders.

• Ability to work independently and as part of a cross-functional team in a fast-paced environment.

• Fluency in English both spoken and written ; knowledge of Dutch or other European languages is a plus.

• Experience with project methodologies (e.g., Agile, Waterfall) is an asset.
