Your role: 

As a Solution Data Architect, you will be at the forefront of designing and implementing robust data architectures that align with our clients' business objectives. You will leverage your deep knowledge of the modern data stack and Azure cloud services to create scalable and efficient data solutions.

Key responsibilities:

• Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather and analyze technical requirements.

• Design and implement comprehensive data architectures using industry-standard techniques like Kimball and Data Vault.

• Utilize modern data architecture techniques including Data Fabric, Data Mesh, and Data Products.

• Lead the development and maintenance of conceptual, logical, and physical data models.

• Oversee data integration processes, ensuring consistency, accuracy, and availability.

• Provide mentorship and technical guidance to junior data engineers.

• Develop and enforce data governance frameworks

Position is open for a fixed freelancer or permanent employee. 

Must haves: 

• Extensive experience as a Solution Data Architect or similar role

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field

• Deep expertise in Azure cloud services
  

• Proficiency in modern data stack technologies

• Strong experience with data modeling techniques

• Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to translate business requirements into technical solutions

• Strong communication skills in English and Dutch, French is a plus 

Nice to haves: 

• Certifications in Azure or relevant cloud platforms

• Experience leading data engineering projects

• Familiarity with data governance and data quality best practices

• Experience with big data technologies and frameworks
