Overview

Introduction to the position
ISB Plus is the name of our after school co-curricular activities programme, which directly supports
the School's Mission. The activities provide opportunities for personal development for students by
introducing them to different interests and experiences. It is a safe, inclusive environment where
students can learn new skills or perfect existing ones.
Key Accountabilities
ISB Plus Team is currently looking for Instructors for the ISB after school co-curricular programme, to
start in mid-September for our Fall season.
Are you interested to share your knowledge and passion with students aged between 5-18 in areas
such as (but not limited to):
- chess
- gymnastics
- climbing (certified CATAGSAE)
- soccer
- e-sports
- photography/video
- golf
- fitness center
Activities usually run from Monday - Thursday between 15:50 - 18:00 during the school year
(September to June). Activity Instructors work maximum 8 hours/week.
Instructor positions are open to all ISB teachers but are also open to externals (through Interim
Agency or free-lance).

The goal of the Activities Department is to provide an extended after school care programme for its
students (ages 3-12 years).
The ISB Plus Team is currently looking for a part-time After School Care Worker, who could assist
from Monday to Thursday (15:00-18:00), on Wednesdays (12:00-18:00) and on Professional
Development and Learning Conferences days. The contract for this position will be concluded
through an interim agency.
Key Accountabilities -Supervision and care of children, after school hours.
-Assist with the preparation and maintenance of materials and equipment.
-Ensure childcare is an inclusive environment which meets the needs of all children
regardless of culture, religion, and physical or emotional development.
-Undertake other duties and responsibilities of an equivalent nature as may be determined
by the Activities department.

Job Responsibilities
General
The Tutor is responsible for all aspects of preparing students optimally for success
within the International Baccalaureate programme (IB). They will teach a
Literature course in their mother tongue.
Specific
The tutor is responsible for:
● communicating to students and parents the purpose, principles and
practicalities of the course, including all learning objectives, assessment
criteria and methods, timelines and examples of good performance
● constructing the detailed course, including all material selection, within the
established IB guidelines
● keeping abreast of developments in language teaching in general and, more
specifically, language teaching expectations within the IB programme
● providing challenging, engaging literature lessons to small groups of
students of varying aptitude and prior experience
● taking maximum advantage of the local community within this language
group, and other resources, to enrich the programme
● assessing and marking coursework with a view to giving prompt, regular
constructive feedback to students throughout the course, including:
-the provision of predicted IB grades
-regular reporting to students and parents, both verbal and written, in
-conformity with standard ISB systems
● regular liaison with the school and with parents
●supervising the additional requirements of the IB programme: the World
Literature internal assessment, oral presentations and oral commentary
exam
● demonstrating a personal enthusiasm for the particular language,
literature, culture
IB Language A: Literature Tutors will have:
● formal teaching qualifications specializing in Literature and/or Language
teaching
● at least two years of experience in this field, preferably within the IB
programme

Raiders Athletics, ISB’s Athletic Programme, is committed to providing ISB students the opportunity to compete and develop their skills in a wide range of sports. On the courts and fields, students build and test their character.
Key Accountabilities
Raiders Athletics is currently looking for seasonal part-time coach for the ISB Athletics Tennis programme at the U14 level during the Fall season (August-November). Practices are held before and after school, two or three times a week and typically 75-120 minutes in length. Competitions take place during the week after school, as well as on the weekends (Saturday). Teams travel throughout the season to various locations primarily within Europe.
Do you have a passion for tennis? To join the team, you will be responsible for the management of all practices and competitions as well as supervise the conduct of your team members, and that of the members of other ISB teams, during practices and competition.
Coaching positions are open to all ISB teachers but are also open to externals (through Interim Agency or free-lance).
