Tax Professional (m/f/x)

What will you be doing?

As a member of the Belgian tax team, you will be part of an international group dealing with all tax related topics: Corporate tax, international tax and Transfer Pricing, local taxes, VAT and customs topics for Belgium and Luxemburg. This includes amongst others:

• Corporate income tax reporting(monthly reporting, closing periods, tax returns, deferred tax reporting…)
• VAT and IC listing returns
• Tax advice(corporate tax questions, international tax advice, VAT questions, …)
• Fiches (yearly Belgian forms to be filed for certain paid fees)
• Transfer Pricing regulation(documentation, Pillar II, CbCr, local file, …)
• Follow-up of Permanent Establishments of the Belgian entities
• Following-up on questions from the business on a daily basis
• Involvement in big projects for consideration of tax implications (business projects, but also carve-outs, carve-ins, …)
• Tax audit and tax litigation
• Assisting the Maghreb countries (mainly Morocco and Tunisia) with internal corporate tax reporting and tax advice.

What makes you a great fit?

• 2 to 3 years of experience in the tax field.
• Familiar with OECD guidelines and tax treaties.
• Basic knowledge of EU and Belgian VAT is a plus.
• You hold a degree in Taxation or Tax Law.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills in English, Dutch, and French.
• A true team player who thrives in a collaborative environment, while also able to work independently.
• Flexible and open-minded, eager to learn and expand your knowledge.
