Tester

We currently have a vacancy for a Tester fluent in English, to offer his/her services as an expert who will be based in Brussels, Belgium. The work will be carried out either in the companys premises or on site at customer premises. In the context of the first assignment, the successful candidate will be integrated in the Development team of the company that will closely cooperate with a major clients IT team on site.

Your tasks

• Defining test plans, test cases, and constructing test scenarios and scripts;
• Executing tests and coordinating testing activities;
• Reporting test results effectively;
• Designing, preparing, and monitoring automated tests;
• Contributing to the development and integration of automated testing;
• Creating methodologies and architectures for test automation solutions;
• Enabling the transition from manual to automated testing approaches;
• Managing test data preparation, preferably with SQL databases.

Requirements

• University degree in IT or relevant discipline, combined with 17 years of relevant working experience in IT;
• Hands-on experience in manual and automated testing (e.g. Selenium, Cucumber, Java, C# etc.);
• Experience in test data management and automation technologies;
• Experience in the test data preparation, preferably with SQL databases;
• Knowledge of test management and defect tracking tools;
• ISTQB Certification would be considered an asset;
• Excellent command of the English language.
