Traineeship Cybersecurity

Your Impact

As a Traineeship security consultant with a focus on offensive testing and application security, you are responsible for performing security assessments including penetration test, SAST, DAST, … . You guide the client in setting up, maintaining, improving and monitoring his security landscape, either independently or as a team. As a security consultant, you will focus on growth and value creation, both for our customers and within our organisation. Value creation can include defining, broadening and streamlining new and existing services or products.

During the Ordina Traineeship, you will attend an intensive and fun training program for a duration of three weeks in which you will be introduced to several different domains within cybersecurity. This way you will learn to translate your academic knowledge into practical, business and technical skills. Additionally, not only will we invest in your technical skills by offering a certification program but we will also focus on the development of your business acumen.


The Traineeship is taught by professional trainers, combined with our own expertise in security. Moreover, you will be assigned an experienced mentor who will support you in the further development of your career. After completion of the Traineeship, you will start working as a security consultant for a client. We will attempt to include you in a High Performance Team with the purpose of exposing you to experienced security professionals and to further your practical security knowledge. Our Traineeship starts September 2, 2024 but applications are open today. We are looking forward to welcome several passionate young professionals.

Where you're going to get started

Our security team is the real expert in this field: a young, driven team of specialists coached by a guru. This team assists our clients with security audits, GDPR compliance, ethical hacking, red teaming, security strategy, cyber security incident response, etc. We place great importance on continuous training and obtaining relevant certifications

You have good communication skills, both verbally and in writing in English, Dutch and/or French

You are flexible, disciplined, humble and a team-player

A bachelor's diploma is a plus but not a must

Any certificate in offensive testing is a plus but not a must
