The role also partners across functions to guide teams through ERP transformation initiatives.

The position leads or supports a functional team of process experts and provides collaborative leadership to contractors and support teams, including CEBA and PMO partners.

The Transcend Deployment Process Manager will be a key face to the site personnel for the specific deployment and will need to be able to shape and influence in the face of resistance to change.

Major Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Leads the implementation of global functional process templates across regions and business units to align with industry regulations and SAP best practices.
  • Drives SAP S/4HANA template deployment by promoting standardization and reducing unnecessary customization while aligning with legal and regulatory requirements.
  • Ensures solution design aligns with SAP Clean Core principles by prioritizing configuration over customization and maximising standard extensibility frameworks to support scalable, sustainable solutions.

Leadership and Collaboration

  • Leads cross-functional teams, including business subject matter experts, IT, SAP consultants, validation specialists, and system integrators, to deliver value stream–aligned outcomes.
  • Partners with value stream leads (e.g., procure-to-pay, finance, manufacturing) to enable seamless, end-to-end process integration across the enterprise.
  • Acts as a key facilitator across business units, program leadership, and technical teams to align on scope, timelines, and business readiness.

Solution Delivery and Validation

  • Is responsible for end-to-end solution delivery, including detailed design, user story development, configuration reviews, data migration validation, testing strategy (including GxP and CSV compliance), and business process walkthroughs.
  • Leads value stream testing activities, including functional testing, user acceptance testing (UAT), and validation efforts, in alignment with SDLC practices.
  • Supports the development and approval of value stream validation results in alignment with quality assurance (QA) and regulatory requirements.

Change Management and Training

  • Partners with the Change Management team to support user readiness and drive adoption of global value stream standards.
  • Develops and delivers training materials and process documentation tailored to regulated users and business stakeholders to support effective adoption.

Qualifications:

Education:

  • University level degree in quality, business/IT technical/scientific area or comparable education/experience.

Experience:

Required:

  • A minimum of 6 years of relevant experience.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of controlled substance regulations, enabling compliant and risk-aware operational execution.
  • Experience working across end-to-end value stream processes in a GxP-regulated environment, including areas such as commercial distribution, serialization, credit management, and revenue recognition.
  • Applies knowledge of SAP Clean Core principles and extensibility approaches (e.g., in-app, side-by-side) to enable scalable, sustainable, and future-ready system design.
  • Leads cross-functional collaboration and engages stakeholders, including business leaders, regulatory teams, and global partners, to align on priorities and drive successful outcomes.
  • Experience applying CSV, SDLC, and GxP frameworks to support system implementations and audit-ready deployment practices.
  • Brings experience in pharmaceutical or life sciences environments to support global transformation initiatives within complex regulatory settings.
  • Experience using SAP S/4HANA capabilities (e.g., Sales & Distribution, Credit Management, Billing), along with Fiori and Solution Manager, to support efficient, user-focused deployment and value stream optimization.

Other

  • Ability to travel up to 50% of the time both domestically and internationally.
