Turnover Engineer

We are looking for a Turnover Engineer to support completion and handover activities on an industrial project.
The role focuses on completion database setup and management, data quality, punch tracking, and quality pack readiness to ensure timely system handover.

Required Experience / Qualifications

• Familiarity with Completion & Turnover management processes

• Strong IT and data handling skills, including advanced Excel (formulas, pivot tables, filtering, sorting)

• Solid background in construction database implementation

• Minimum 3 years of GoCompletions® experience (or equivalent platform)

Main Tasks and Responsibilities

• Set up and populate the Completion & Turnover database

• Ensure inspection test packs / quality records are progressively collected, indexed, and available to support phased acceptance and plant handover to the Owner

• Be accountable for delivery of the completions process in a safe, structured way, aligned with project goals, procedures, and schedule

• Identify Good Documentation Practice deficiencies and coordinate resolution, while informing the QC Manager and Turnover Coordinator

• Perform punctual updates of the Completion & Turnover database

• Track punch list items

• Receive and review engineering input data, generating and clarifying discrepancy reports

• Provide system/database analysis and technical support to all users

• Maintain overall system integrity and control of databases, ensuring smooth data merge/integration from package vendors and discipline updates

• Import/export data for discrepancy/non-compliance evaluation and follow up on close-out actions

• Support uploading and validation of QC formats/punch items in the Completion & Turnover Management System once documentation is properly compiled and signed by project parties

• Monitor Quality Pack completion to ensure prompt system handover, highlighting risk areas against project handover milestones

• Issue weekly status reports for planning and project management

• Use established tracking and distribution systems for mechanical completion, certification, and punch listing activities

• Assist with planning coordination for both mechanical completion and commissioning

• Proactively support completion and handover activities

• Perform all other duties required to meet project objectives and schedule
