User Documentation and Training Expert

We currently have a vacancy for a User Documentation and Training Expert fluent in English, to offer his/her services as an expert who will be based in Brussels, Belgium. The work will be carried out either in the companys premises or on site at customer premises. In the context of the first assignment, the successful candidate will be integrated in the Development team of the company that will closely cooperate with a major clients IT team on site.

Your tasks

• Perform functional analysis, testing, documentation, and training activities related to the development and operation of IT systems;
• Collaborate closely with project managers and liaise with business users to ensure alignment with functional requirements;
• Work methodically and apply strong analytical skills to deliver high-quality outcomes;
• Writing user manuals for information systems, prepare and give training courses on information systems;
• Contribute to the evolution and enhancement of the functional scope of IT systems;
• Leverage knowledge of state-of-the-art IT solutions and methodologies to propose improvements.

Requirements

• University degree in IT or relevant discipline, combined with minimum 17 years of relevant working experience in IT;
• Experience in creating video tutorials to support user training and system understanding;
• Experience in the functional aspects of IT projects, ideally within the legal domain;
• Experience in user support, functional testing, documentation, and training;
• Good knowledge of presentation tools (e.g. PowerPoint);
• Excellent command of the English language, while fluency in French would be an asset.
