FINANCIAL PLANNING & ANALYSIS SPECIALIST

The Job

The Financial Planning & Analysis Specialist is a key strategic partner to the business, responsible for supporting the financial planning, analysis, and reporting processes. The role will play a critical part in driving data-driven decision-making, ensuring financial performance aligns with business strategies, and providing financial insights to senior leadership.

This position will partner cross-functionally to support initiatives that enhance financial performance and operational efficiency across the company. 

Your Mission

As our Financial Planning & Analysis Specialist, your main responsibilities include:

Driving the budgeting and forecasting process in close collaboration with business stakeholders.

Delivering clear, actionable reporting and analysis through financial modeling, forecasting, and variance analysis.

Performing detailed variance analysis, identifying key drivers of performance deviations from budget, forecast, and prior periods.

Partnering with business units to provide financial insights, guide strategic decisions, and support performance metrics and initiatives.

Leading improvements in financial systems, tools, and reporting processes to enhance accuracy, efficiency, and scalability.

Strengthening the financial governance by developing policies, implementing controls, and driving process improvements.

Supporting strategic planning initiatives through data-driven financial modeling and scenario analysis.

Your Qualifications

You have a Bachelor’s degree in finance, Accounting, or a related field.

You have at least 5 years of experience in financial planning and analysis, preferably in a R&D or hardware technology environment. A previous experience as Auditor or Controller is an asset.

You speak English and Dutch fluently.

You are a strategic and data-driven thinker with strong financial modelling, forecasting, and analysis skills; adept at turning complex data into actionable insights.

You are experienced in financial systems, with strong Excel skills and a proven ability to lead, collaborate, and drive innovation in dynamic environments. SAP and Power-BI experience is a big asset.
