Vendor Relationship Manager Unit-T

Job Description - Vendor Relationship Manager Unit-T

Description

The Vendor Relationship Manager – Unit‑T is responsible for the strategic and financial management of the partnership with Unit‑T, with the objective of maximizing value creation in terms of quality, customer impact, cost efficiency, sustainability, and delivery reliability.

Acting as the single point of accountability for the partnership, the role actively drives financial performance and the achievement of strategic objectives. The focus is on developing a future-proof collaboration that aligns with the company’s ambitions regarding ESG (Environmental, Social & Governance), safety, sustainability, innovation, and compliance.

The Vendor Relationship Manager works closely with the Service Delivery Manager, who is responsible for the day-to-day operational management of installation and repair activities. While the Service Delivery Manager focuses on operational performance, daily follow-up, and escalations, the Vendor Relationship Manager is responsible for the strategic relationship, governance, financial steering, contract management, and long-term optimization of the partnership.

As a key link between Unit‑T, Finance, Customer Operations, and other internal stakeholders, the Vendor Relationship Manager plays a critical role in driving the ongoing transformation of the field services organization and ensuring the partnership continues to deliver sustainable business value.

Your responsibilities as Vendor Relationship Manager

  • Build and maintain a sustainable, transparent, and future-oriented partnership with Unit‑T, ensuring alignment with broader business objectives and strategic priorities.

  • Own the end-to-end financial management of the partnership, including budgeting, forecasting, financial planning, cost control, and the development of business cases for investment and improvement initiatives.

  • Lead and coordinate key governance forums, including operational reviews, quarterly business reviews, and partner boards, to monitor performance, manage risks, and drive strategic priorities.

  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders across Telenet and Unit‑T, translating complex operational and financial information into clear, actionable management insights.

  • Collaborate closely with Service Delivery Managers to align operational performance with strategic objectives, while ensuring clear accountability and role separation between operational delivery and partnership management.

  • Drive continuous improvement and transformation initiatives, focusing on efficiency gains, digitalization, automation, innovation, and the standardization of processes and governance.

  • Hold overall accountability for maximizing value creation within the partnership, ensuring the achievement of ESG, safety, sustainability, and compliance objectives while supporting long-term business success.

  • You possess extensive stakeholder management experience and are skilled at building and maintaining strong, long-term relationships across different levels of an organization.
