We are looking for an enthusiastic, strongly motivated and hands-on Finance Professional with interest and affinity in manufacturing processes and cost accounting. This individual will become a key member of the MSP Hamme Finance team, with focus on Financial Controllership and FP&A. Key job responsibilities
- You use solid financial knowledge and business acumen to build financial models and analyses with little guidance and draw conclusions and make recommendations that deliver results, and drive improvements.
- You manage development of financial reviews, forecasting, and reporting models and their continuous innovation and communicating to Financial and Operations partners.
- You identify and solve complex data integrity issues and collaborate with stakeholders on resolution, insisting on the highest standards.
- You identify the need for improved controls to address risk driven by business, industry, policy, and regulatory changes and proactively propose control solutions.
- You identify and implement opportunities to resolve finance issues, improve, scale, or simplify finance tools, technology, and processes across teams and organizations.
- You understand how data flows through our financial platforms and know the right data to use for analysis, and establish a source of truth.
- You simplify and centralize process improvement and reporting to allow business partners and customers to take action quickly.
- You assist with month-end and year-end closings. About the team
The MSP Hamme finance team is responsible for financial reporting, planning, and business partnering on research & development and manufacturing activities of the MSP Hamme Operations team. The team is focusing on process improvement and reporting to support the business. We are open to hiring candidates to work out of one of the following locations: Hamme, BEL

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

- Significant experience with accounting and financial reporting, preferably gained within a Big Four firm and / or a multinational organization;
- Excellent communication skills with fluent English;
- Proficient Microsoft Excel user;
- University degree in Accounting, Finance, or Economics.
- Experience working with ERP systems (SAP, Oracle) and reporting tools (examples: Cognos, Hyperion)

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

- Thorough knowledge of USGAAP, BEGAAP or other accounting frameworks;
- Experience in conducting comprehensive analysis of production costs, material consumption, and inventory levels;
- Proven experience in a manufacturing environment and understanding of manufacturing processes;
