In order to support the development of our financial department, we are currently looking for a Finance & Business Controller .
The main location of this role will be Brussels.

Job Description

Finance & Business Controller - PageGroup - Brussels
As the Financial & Business Controller , you act as the right hand of the Finance Director and support him in the daily management of the financial activities of the Belgian & Luxembourg entities of the Group.
In addition to that, you have a key focus on supporting the operational business on a day-to-day basis while also providing strategic insight to the local board based on the analysis of various reporting & insights tools that are available.
Your main tasks will consist in :

• Ensuring the reliability & quality of the financial information of the group's Belgian subsidiary, with taking the ownership of the analysis of both P&L and B/S
• Acting as a real Finance Business Partner for the Business Managers & Directors
• Being in charge of the management control, including the analysis of the turnover, costs, budget management, as well as analyzing the discrepancies between budget & actuals
• Participating to the monthly financial closing activities in close collaboration with the Shared Service Center in charge of the group's accounting activities
• Ensuring the financial reporting to the Group
• Being in charge of the sales commissions & bonuses calculations
• Acting as point of contact for the External and Internal Auditors
• Contributing to the improvement of the financial processes
• Participating in various ad-hoc tasks and projects.

The Successful Applicant

Finance & Business Controller - PageGroup - Brussels

• Master's degree in Business Administration / Finance / Management
• 0-3 years of financial experience (External Audit or Controlling is a plus)
• Fluency in English as well as French and / or Dutch
• Good analytical skills
• Business Partnering mindset with effective and clear communication
• Motivation, willing to learn and to take on responsibilities.
