Your Missions

Enterprise is our fastest growing segment and represents a unique opportunity for Alan to become the health partner of millions of members by 2030.

Strengthening this segment is a high priority and we are doubling down to accelerate on the foundations set this year, increasing our reach and reinforcing our offer and positioning to support larger and larger companies in France and beyond.

As a Business Developper Intern, you will play a key role in helping us structure our approach to very large companies (> 3,000 employees). You will work closely with a team of 2 Senior Account Executives and our Business Segment Lead, supporting them in their opportunities and driving various growth-related projects.

You will be responsible for:

- Deal support: partnering with Account Executives on their deal strategy and pitch presentations, coordinating internal stakeholders to reach the best offers

- Account mapping: putting a strong focus on mapping the companies to tailor our approach and avoid any blind spots

- Tender management and RFP Library/Toolkit: orchestration of tender answers with a dedicated taskforce (ops, marketing, pre-sales, sales, top management), ownership of specific sections and content to build

- Networking & Awareness: along with Business Segment Lead, identification of events to participate to and personas to meet for our Founders and Senior Execs to make Alan more visible

- Process Scaling: audit of existing sales processes (CRM, minutes of meeting automation, meeting prep framework….), identification of improvement areas

- Go to Market Strategy: along with the crew lead or the Business Segment Lead, opportunity to dig deeper into a topic to crack (Unions market in France, brokers market…)

- Recurring tasks: Coordinating the weekly internal communication,If you want to know more about how our Sales team works: it's here (in French)!

Examples of recent projects:

- Sales - In-depth mapping : Analysis of retail company organization (Board, Exco, Unions, HRs team..) to understand direct and indirect stakeholders, define prospection & influence/lobbying strategy

- Sales and Tender - Being project manager on one of the biggest tenders in Alan's history: involvement throughout the whole process, coordination of Sales, Opérations and Product teams to make the best offer possible.

You may be a good fit if you:

- Are fully fluent in French & English (written and spoken)

- Are analytical and think strategically: selling to very large accounts asks for the ability to map organizations to find the best interlocutor and have a clear picture of our positioning on the health insurance market.

- Have a strong business sense: bringing a disruptive vision on a conventional market such as health insurance is hard. It requires the ability to convince high level stakeholders and be able to outline our product's impact at a strategic level for a large company.

- Are self-organized and autonomous: you are well-versed in missions requiring precision and reliability. You are able to manage a project from start to finish with minimal external assistance.

- Communicate effectively: given the number of internal stakeholders with whom Very Large Sales interact on a daily basis, the ability to communicate with clarity is essential.

- Display a growth mindset: you know how to ask for and receive feedback in order to grow and take the best of this experience to set you up for success in your early professional life.

- Excel at team work: given the strategic implications of our Very Large business segment, volume and timeline of work, you have the ability to lead transversal initiatives towards a particular objective.

- Show versatility: given the scope of work, you should be able to jump from one topic to another

- Have a strong product and “Tech” sense: Alan is an innovative company offering the most high end healthcare software on the market. In order to thrive in selling it, you need to enjoy deep diving in the technical dimension of the software industry.

Level considered for this position is between A0 and A2.

The position is open for a start date between March 2024 to May 2024, ideally for a six-month internship.
