Communications & Project Intern

The position

Efficient Buildings Europe is seeking to recruit a Communications & Project Intern for the period from July to December 2024 . This internship is an opportunity to develop (practical) expertise in communications and project related activities on sustainability topics, in an English-speaking environment, and within a small, busy and multinational team. This position will be remunerated.

Missions

External Communications

• Preparing and issuing communications on social media (Twitter, LinkedIn), under the supervision of the Communications and Marketing Manager
• Updating the websites (WordPress) of Efficient Buildings Europe and Renovate Europe as needed
• Helping in disseminating Press Releases (MailChimp)

Internal communications

• Supporting the team in writing Newsletters to members and partners
• Drafting Efficient Buildings Europe’s yearly activity report with the Communications and Marketing Manager
• Creating graphic content (banners, flyers, infographics etc.) for communications activities
• Monitoring the general mailbox
• Supporting with other relevant communications and project related duties

Projects

• Supporting the EPBD.wise project (funded through the LIFE-program)
• Researching topics relevant to our work
• Supporting the association’s work on the 2024 EU elections

How to apply?

If you are a master’s student with:

• A strong interest in European affairs and energy & climate issues
• Some experience in communications, with knowledge of WordPress and Canva preferred
• Fluency in written and spoken English (having another EU language is highly desirable)
