Stranger Soccer is looking for energetic, reliable and people-oriented Game Hosts to help us launch and grow our football games in Belgium, starting in Mechelen and Antwerp.

As a Game Host, you are the face of Stranger Soccer on the pitch. You ensure that every game runs smoothly and that players enjoy a fun, welcoming and well-organised experience from the moment they arrive until the final whistle.

Stranger Soccer is an international sports-tech platform that makes it easy for adults to play football — without fixed teams, long-term commitments or complicated organisation.

Through its platform and mobile app, players can:

• browse available games
• book a spot in seconds
• show up and play

What started in Singapore has grown into a global concept, with Stranger Soccer becoming the leading way adults play football in several cities worldwide.

Following strong growth in Asia-Pacific and other international markets, Stranger Soccer is now expanding further into Europe via a local license partner model. Belgium is one of the next launch countries, with games starting in Mechelen and Antwerp.

Launch context (Belgium)

• Games will launch from March
• We will start with a limited number of weekly matches
• The schedule will scale gradually as demand grows
• Focus is on quality, consistency and great player experience from day one

Working hours

• Games will initially take place on weekday evenings
• Additional evening or weekend slots may be added gradually as we scale
• Shifts are planned weekly based on the game schedule

This role is ideal for:

Key responsibilities

• Act as an ambassador of the Stranger Soccer brand at every game
• Host and facilitate football matches in Mechelen or Antwerp
• Welcome players and explain rules, fair play and safety guidelines
• Ensure a smooth and enjoyable game experience from start to finish
• Step in to play if needed (e.g. last-minute no-shows)
• Report practical issues or feedback to the local operations team

• Friendly, outgoing and reliable personality
• Passion for football (playing experience is a plus)
• Strong people and communication skills
• Comfortable taking responsibility on the pitch
• Customer service, sports or event experience is a plus
