Groups & Events Internship

Are you passionate about creating unforgettable events and delivering exceptional service? At Crowne Plaza Antwerpen, we’re looking for a motivated Groups & Events Trainee to play a key role in shaping our Groups & Events (G&E) strategy and ensuring our clients have an experience to remember!

What you'll be doing

• 
  Strategic Coordination: Support the G&E coordinator for the work with the Director of Sales to execute our G&E and Group strategy, keeping a finger on the pulse of market trends, competitor activities, and demand periods, with the help of the G&E coordinator




• 
  Client Engagement: Assist the coordinator in managing proactively MICE (Meetings, Incentives, Conferences, and Exhibitions) and Group accounts, converting leads into successful events that drive repeat business.




• 
  Event Planning Excellence: Do your best to handle requests quickly with the coordinator to exceed client expectations.




• 
  Collaboration: Take the opportunity to work with every hotel team/department in the hotel.




• 
  Innovative Thinking:
  Contribute creative ideas to our Meetings Product Development, ensuring our offerings stand out in the market.




• 
  Market Intelligence:
  Stay ahead, with the coordinator’s support by analysing historical data, current bookings, and competitor products to continuously refine our approach.




• 
  Client Relations:
  Support sales activities including site inspections, client entertainment, and familiarization events, all designed to showcase our exceptional service.

Your ideal profile?

• You are a student in hotel management or business, with a minimum three-month internship agreement starting from NOW (6 months would be perfect!)




• You are fluent in English and Dutch
  to communicate effortlessly with our international clientele. If you speak French or any other language, it's a plus!




• Communicative and customer service-oriented, you enjoy helping people and can keep your cool even in the busiest situations.




• You are full of energy and able to work in a team while keeping a positive attitude.




• Challenges don't scare you; they motivate you!
