We are looking for a passionate and enthusiastic colleague to join our HR team in the Brussels office.
As HR intern you will assist the HR team in their daily tasks. As a team member, you will be a point of contact for all internal clients (employees and self-employed lawyers) regarding HR related questions. You will assist with recruitment, administration, legal questions and reporting for management purposes. Together with the HR team, you will help optimise and implement HR policies.
Payroll and administration:
Newcomers, leavers, administration and communication
Preparing legal documents: contracts, addenda, c4, etc.
Updating Sharepoint for the HR department
Personnel filing
Ad hoc queries
Recruitment Support:
Drafting and provide job descriptions
Responsible for the interns recruitment procedure
Pre – screening of CV’s, organising interviews and follow-up candidates
Support and follow-up of the review process
Organising recruitment events such as helping prepare and attend job fairs, contacting schools…
HR Projects:
Continuously working on different HR projects
Provide necessary information for support staff meetings
Reporting & Data Management:
Reporting on several topics on a regular basis
Providing statistics for meetings and ad hoc queries
Your profile
You have good MS Office skills
You are fluent in English (our working language) and in French or Dutch
Team player, able to build good working relationships with colleagues
Self-learner, reliable, flexible, job conscious and helpful
Good communication skills, ability to deal with people at all levels
Positive, pro-active, professional attitude, able to remain calm under pressure and able to work to tight deadlines
Ability to prioritise and use initiative
Good organisational skills and attention to detail
Positive attitude with a sense of humour
