Job Description

We are looking for a motivated intern who possesses excellent analytical abilities combined with a keen interest in M&A, strategy and investments. The objective of the internship is to support the team throughout the key stages of the M&A process (Market research, sourcing, acquisitions, modelling and company valuation), working closely with SPB’s Head of M&A and the BlackFin teams.

Full project involvement throughout the whole investment cycle:

• Search for acquisition targets

• Market research

• Financial analysis, modelling and company valuation

•Drafting presentations and memoranda to support transactions

Length and beginning of the internship :

• Start date: ASAP

• Duration: 6 to 12 months

• Location: SPB office in Brussels

• Compensation: Competitive

Profile :

• Education: Master student in Finance, Economics, Engineering, or candidate to an MBA

• Previous experience in Investment Banking, Consulting, Private Equity or Audit firms appreciated

• Thorough understanding of finance and accounting concepts

• Fluent in English, French and/or Dutch

• Proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint
