Part Time Housekeeper for Brooklyn (Park Slope) Family #PT0011

Part-time housekeeper required for a Brooklyn family with a toddler starting ASAP. Specific duties to be negotiated with the family, but in general, you will be responsible for daily upkeep, cleaning and organization of the home, laundry and light ironing, shopping for groceries/supplies and ad hoc errands.

To be successful in this role, you will need to be someone positive, active (internal stairs and walk up apartment 3rd and 4th floor) and who has flexibility in their daily tasks. The family is looking for someone experienced, trustworthy and with a strong work ethic. The right person for this role should be able to show initiative and be proactive in all areas, and enjoy keeping a routine cleaning schedule of all areas.

Location: Park Slope, NY

Start date: ASAP

Days/times: Flexible on days (Ideally a half day on weekend) - approx. 16-20 hours per week.

Children: One daughter - born March 2023

Conditions: $35-45 per hour.

• Authorization to work in the US
• A minimum of 3 years experience as a housekeeper, 5 years preferred
• An understanding of managing a household with a toddler.
• Exceptional references that attest to strong communication skills, reliability, punctuality and professionalism.
• Ability to commit for a minimum of 2 years for all permanent positions
• A professional appearance
• A flexible schedule
• Comfortable with one small dog (hypoallergenic)
• Comfortable with taking dog on short walks.
• Readiness to help with all housekeeping and all related tasks,

• Comfortable with occasional short term babysitting of toddler when FT nanny is out sick.

Additional qualifications we look for:

• Training and certifications such as NCS, early childhood education, defensive driving, water safety certification, etc.
• A valid passport (or willingness to obtain)
