Part Time Nanny for Tribeca Family #PT0015

Part-Time Weekend Nanny (Friday to Sunday) required for a Tribeca family with 3 daughters starting August 2025. Specific duties to be negotiated with the family, but in general, you will be responsible for providing nurturing and loving care to the children, handling all child related tidying/cleaning/organizing, laundry/ironing, household inventory/shopping and managing all routines in a busy household. You will work in partnership with another nanny and be responsible for transporting the girls to/from school, extracurriculars + playdates as well as light errands, dressing/bathing, travel packing/unpacking, grocery shopping and nutritious meal preparation for all children. Someone organized, proactive and who thrives in an active and fast paced environment will be a strong match for this family. This role requires someone who anticipates needs and solves problems before they arise and has the ability to develop and coordinate children’s schedules while maintaining a streamlined household.

The parents are looking for someone who balances fun with structure. The candidate should have a big heart, be able to design creative and educational activities for the children and be a team player. Beyond childcare, the parents are looking for someone who loves to cook healthy meals and excels at coordinating family logistics. The candidate must be flexible to support the family as needed with additional hours - including travel, earlier/longer days and some weekends. A driver's license is required and being comfortable driving both in and outside NYC (e.g. up to 2 hour drive to country home).

Location: Tribeca, NYC + travel (live-in)

Start date: No later than August 2025

Days/times: 35+ hours per week expected Friday through Sunday with ability to flex as needed for travel, earlier/later days, weekends, etc. Frequent travel, especially during the summer is expected - generally live-in and rotating between the nannies.

Children: 3 daughters (born 2021/2023/2024).

Conditions: $35 - $38 per hour* plus health care stipend, sick/personal/vacation days *dependent on experience and other considerations. The family is open to discussions surrounding the final compensation package for their preferred candidate.

For further consideration, applicants must possess the following:

• Work authorization for the US
• US citizen & passport highly preferred or green card
• A minimum of 5 years working as a full-time nanny
• A well-suited demeanor and experience working with infants and with toddlers
• Exceptional childcare references that attest to strong communication skills, reliability, punctuality, maturity and high emotional intelligence
• Proven tenure with multiple families (ideally with multiple children)
• College-educated preferred, with education or equivalent knowledge of ages and stages of child growth and development
• Experience working in NYC with the street smarts and knowledge of caring for young children and keeping them safe in the city
• Experience working with other nannies/household team and with household management responsibilities and coordinating family logistics
• Ability to complete all child related duties during the workday, while providing a safe and loving environment for children (including, but not limited to: meal preparation, cleaning up/tidying bedroom and play areas, laundry & ironing, maintain/manage inventory lists and ordering for household needs, researching activities and planning playdates, etc)
• Interest and experienced in providing healthy, home cooked meals and snacks for the kids (beyond the basics)

• Excellent swimmer
• Clean driver’s license and comfortable driving in and outside NYC (e.g. up to 2 hour drive to country home)
