  • Monitor plant KPIs, operational logs, and equipment trends; initiate troubleshooting or escalation as necessary.

  • Ensure accurate shift handovers, reporting, and communication of plant status to management and engineering.

  • Coordinate with OEMs, contractors, and internal stakeholders during maintenance, testing, or commissioning events.

  • Support root cause analysis of equipment failures and implement corrective actions.

  • Maintain up-to-date documentation on operating procedures, safety incidents, and maintenance records.

  • Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives aimed at increasing reliability, efficiency, and compliance.

Qualifications

  • 5+ years of experience in power plant operations and maintenance, with at least 2 years in a leadership or supervisory role.

  • Direct experience with gas turbine systems (aero-derivative or industrial), such as those used in mobile or modular generation units.

  • Strong knowledge of turbine auxiliaries, fuel handling, cooling, lube oil, air systems, and electrical distribution.

  • Proven ability to lead teams in a high-pressure, real-time operating environment.

  • Proficient in reading technical documentation including P&IDs, schematics, and OEM manuals.

  • Familiarity with computerized systems (DCS, SCADA, CMMS) and Microsoft Office applications.

  • Strong understanding of health, safety, and environmental compliance (OSHA, ISO, local regulations).

  • Excellent communication, organizational, and decision-making skills.

  • Willingness to work rotating shifts, weekends, and respond to plant emergencies when required.

  • Fluent in English; additional languages are an asset.

Preferred:
