We are looking for a Business Development Representative that will handle the following:Build, maintain and manage relationships with customers in the assigned portfolio by remote selling channels (as phone, e-mail)Handle the sales process with customers by performing needs analysis, designing solutions and negotiating dealsIdentify and pursue opportunities for cross-sell and up-sell to existing customersIdentify potential customer issues and solve them in collaboration with the sales/trade/Customer Service/Finance teamsPerform outbound interactions (calls/e-mails) to potential, dormant and current customersQualify customers' sales potential and plan activities to increase businessIdentify and develop leads and new customersEstablish relationships with new customers and secure contracts with new customers to achieve targetsAnalyze relevant customers for targeted sales campaigns and build a work plan to increase salesCommunicate closely with trade and cross-functional teams on market intelligence, service updates, customer challenges and opportunitiesPromote ZIM added value services with the customers, including digital platforms (as eZIM, myZIM, eZQuote, ZIMLogistics)Follow and use sales best practice and toolsUpdate customer information and interactions in CRMMonitor and report sales goals/targets/KPIs in line with company’s objectivesForecast sales activities and set personal/company goals accordingly
