Senior Network Engineer (Contractor – Offshore)

Role Overview

SharkNinja is seeking a skilled Senior Network Engineer / Network Administrator to support global network operations across AMR and EUR regions. This role focuses on designing, implementing, supporting, and optimizing enterprise network infrastructure, ensuring high availability, security, and scalability. Working under the direction of the Network Manager, the engineer will troubleshoot complex network issues, support upgrades, and maintain reliable connectivity aligned with business objectives.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, configure, maintain, and troubleshoot Cisco network and security infrastructure, including:
  

  • Catalyst Switches, ISR Routers
    

  • FirePower & FMC
    

  • Wireless LAN Controllers (WLC)
    

  • Identity Services Engine (ISE)
    

  • DNA Center (DNAC)
    

  • SD -WAN
    

• Provide deep technical support for WAN/LAN networking, including wireless, fiber -optic, and copper cabling.
  

• Monitor network performance to ensure high availability, resilience, and cybersecurity protection.
  

• Validate and maintain network configuration backups.
  

• Manage and resolve IT network support tickets, ensuring SLA adherence.
  

• Implement and maintain security controls such as firewalls, access controls, and encryption.
  

• Perform hardware and software upgrades, patches, and routine maintenance.
  

• Document network configurations and maintain up -to -date Visio diagrams and technical documentation.
  

• Collaborate with cross -functional IT teams to optimize and scale network architecture.
  

• Prepare detailed technical diagrams, use cases, test plans, and operational guides.
  

• Coordinate with managers, users, and team members to prioritize tasks and initiatives.
  

• Conduct user training, testing sessions, and technical meetings with internal and external stakeholders.
  

• Stay current with networking and security technologies, trends, and best practices.

Requirements

• Hands -on experience with Cisco routers, switches, wireless, and network appliances including:
  

  • FTD, ISE, DNAC, SD -WAN
    

• Strong understanding of TCP/IP, OSI model, and network protocols such as:
  

  • SNMP, NetFlow, Syslog, DHCP, DNS, FTP
    

• Solid troubleshooting skills with the ability to escalate critical issues appropriately
  

• Ability to work after hours or weekends when required
  

• Willingness to participate in on -call rotations
  

• Comfortable working both independently and as part of a team
  

• Ability to thrive in a fast -paced, dynamic environment
  

Qualifications

• 7+ years of hands -on Network Administration / Engineering experience
  

• Proven ability to perform responsibilities in English
  

• Strong experience in network analysis, installation, configuration, and troubleshooting
  

• Demonstrated ability to resolve or escalate issues in a timely manner
