LATAM Cash Equities & FnO – Tech Product Owner

As a Product Owner, you thrive at managing and leading complex technology projects / programs that have far-reaching implications to bring value to our clients, employees and stakeholders throughout the firm. This role requires a strong grasp of the big-picture – namely, how can technology help achieve LATAM Markets business goals – as well as a keen ability to structure / organize / plan complex initiatives, establish priorities, manage resources, and build and incentivize high-performing team through influence. You'll work closely with colleagues across the firm to identify opportunities to develop projects and programs to support LATAM Markets Technology . Once you and your team establish a roadmap, you'll play an integral role in ensuring that ensuring that the project is running on time, within budget and in accordance with firm-wide guidelines, including risk and architecture. Just as importantly, you'll work with your team to set goals, foster collaboration and promote the values, culture and brand of JPMorgan Chase & Co.

 

This role requires a wide variety of strengths and capabilities, including: 

• Ability to present, articulate and communicate clearly (in all forms – written, verbally) is a must ;
• 3-7+ years proven working experience in Project & Program management;
• Proven Experience with Agile methodologies 1-3 years;
• Structure, plan, coordinate and track project execution with constant software releases that are composed by multi-disciplinary systems and areas;
• Ability to understand business processes and map them to solutions;
• Working with multiple local and global team of developers and infrastructure;
• Be a role model and coordinate the admin and technical work done by other team members;
• Experience supporting technology to Banking products, such as Equities, Derivatives, Stock Loan Trading, Back office processes, etc.;
• Experience working with high-performing teams in complex program execution;
• Experience working in a Product Oriented Organization with multiple disciplines and roles;
• Experience working in high mission critical environments;
• Understanding of global and line of business project and program management standards and methods;
• Communication, Stakeholder management and risk management 
• Project Management Professional (PMP, PMI-ACP), Scrum (PSM, PSPO), Disciplined Agile (DASM, DASSM, DAVSC), Product Owner (CSPO, A-CSPO) certifications are a plus;
• Bachelor's Degree in Technology related field of study or equivalent work experience;
• Experience with project management software tools ; Inter-Personal Skills:
• Demonstrate Continual Improvement in terms of Individual Performance, and approach;
• Demonstrates intellectual curiosity, challenges assumptions and “the way we’ve always done it.”
• Influence, Negotiation & Organization skills;
• Don’t hesitate to be Hands-on when needed;
• Ability to create and maintain relationships with a wide range of stakeholders throughout the firm across different seniority levels – from Interns to MDs
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skill with proven ability to solve problems creatively;
• Strong communication and team-working skills with Leadership & ownership;
• Bright and enthusiastic, self-starter;
• Ability to thrive in a high pressure, mission critical environment;
• Ability to create and maintain relationships with a wide range of stakeholders throughout the firm;
• A proactive and positive approach to problem solving, taking ownership of issues, and having the determination to follow things through;
• Solid organizational skills and excellent verbal and written communication skills and attention to fine details
