Director of Commercial

Ultimate Beauty is seeking a dynamic and experienced Director of Commercial to join our fast-growing team.

Role Overview:

The Director of Commercial is a pivotal leadership role at Ultimate Beauty, responsible for spearheading revenue generation and business development efforts across global online marketplaces including Amazon, Walmart, and eBay. This senior position involves managing both the commercial and business development departments, developing and optimizing our e-commerce strategy, enhancing customer experience, and navigating the complexities of import and export to achieve the company’s growth goals.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute strategies to grow sales and maximize revenue from existing and new listings across all platforms.
• Identify and capitalize on new business opportunities in international markets, including overcoming challenges related to the importation and exportation of goods.
• Forge and maintain partnerships that enhance our online selling capabilities.
• Lead and manage remote teams effectively, fostering a culture of coaching excellence, high performance, and continuous improvement.
• Engage cross-functionally with various teams to integrate and execute comprehensive business plans.
• Monitor and report on the success of commercial and business development initiatives and make data-driven decisions to guide future strategies.
• Develop clear and concise reporting to demonstrate a deep understanding of the business at all stages of the commercial function.

• Extensive experience in e-commerce and familiarity with global marketplaces like Amazon, eBay, and others.
• At least 5 years of experience in a head of department role with proven success in business development and commercial management.
• Strong leadership skills with a track record of managing and developing high-performing teams remotely.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills.
• Ability to make informed, data-driven decisions.
• Strong project management skills and the capacity to work independently and collaboratively.

Experience Level

This is a senior role suitable for candidates with substantial leadership experience in e-commerce, business development, and global markets looking to influence and drive growth at a strategic level.
